The transfer battle for Alexander Isak is far from over. With the window edging closer to its dramatic finale, Liverpool are reportedly readying a second offer for the Newcastle United striker—though the Magpies have made it clear that two key conditions must be met before they even consider letting him leave.

Isak, who stunned fans with a bold social media post accusing Newcastle of breaking promises made earlier this summer, has been the subject of constant speculation. The club quickly issued their own statement insisting they had no intention of selling—but Anfield’s interest hasn’t cooled.

Earlier in the window, the Reds tested Newcastle’s resolve with a £110 million bid plus add-ons, which was swiftly rejected. Many assumed that would be the end of it, especially after Liverpool secured the signing of Hugo Ekitike, but fresh reports suggest otherwise.

That leaves Liverpool with a choice: either test Newcastle’s resolve with an eye-watering £130m+ offer or risk seeing their No.1 target slip through their fingers.
