Tension is quietly brewing at Anfield after Liverpool’s 1-1 stalemate with Sunderland, as two key players are said to be unhappy with Arne Slot’s recent choices.
Mohamed Salah, left out of the starting lineup for the second consecutive game, is believed to be growing uneasy. After being an unused substitute against West Ham, the forward showed signs of frustration—though he still behaved professionally and backed his teammates from the sidelines.
Slot didn’t deny the situation, admitting that it’s normal for a top player to be disappointed when left out. He hinted Salah wasn’t the only one feeling this way 👀.
Federico Chiesa has also had his own issues, having been left out of the Champions League squad earlier in the season. He later revealed he wasn’t pleased with the decision, although he understood the reasoning behind it.
