RB Leipzig are pushing hard to secure the signing of Harvey Elliott, with the Bundesliga side expected to launch a formal bid in the closing stages of the summer transfer window.
The 22-year-old midfielder has struggled for consistent opportunities under Arne Slot, sparking speculation about his Anfield future. Reports suggest Elliott has come to terms with the reality that he won’t be a regular starter for Liverpool this season.

Leipzig Closing In
Sources indicate that Leipzig are preparing a proposal worth around €30m (£25.9m), though Liverpool currently value Elliott at closer to €40m (£34.5m). Structured payments and performance-related bonuses could help bridge the gap.
A verbal agreement is already believed to be in place regarding personal terms, with Elliott’s camp negotiating a four-year deal that could see his wages rise to between €3m–€4m annually — a significant boost on his present salary.

Liverpool’s Dilemma
