Newcastle Seal €90m Striker Deal – Huge Twist Looming for Liverpool? ⚡🔴

After weeks of frustration in the transfer market, Newcastle United may have finally landed their much-needed striker – and the move could trigger a dramatic chain reaction involving Liverpool.

The Magpies have reportedly struck an agreement with Stuttgart for Nick Woltemade, with German sources claiming the deal is worth €85m upfront plus €5m in add-ons. The 23-year-old forward has already bid farewell to his Bundesliga teammates and is expected to fly to England for a medical within the next 24 hours.

Newcastle’s pursuit of attacking reinforcements has been anything but smooth, having missed out on the likes of Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Hugo Ekitike, and Benjamin Sesko, while bids for Yoane Wissa and Jorgen Strand Larsen were knocked back.

But now, with Woltemade seemingly Anfield-bound, all eyes turn to Alexander Isak. The Swedish striker has long been linked with Liverpool, but Newcastle have stood firm, insisting they wouldn’t sanction a sale without a replacement secured. With Woltemade incoming, could the door finally be opening for Isak’s dream move to Merseyside?

Of course, Liverpool would still need to bridge the gap between their initial £110m bid and Newcastle’s eye-watering £150m valuation. Yet, the timing feels significant – especially with the transfer deadline just around the corner.

The Reds will be hoping this “domino effect” works in their favour, just days after edging Newcastle in a thrilling 3-2 clash at St James’ Park. With the clock ticking toward Monday’s cut-off, fans are left wondering: is this the breakthrough that could bring Isak to Anfield at last?
