Liverpool’s summer transfer business may have broken records, but Mohamed Salah is far from happy with how some fans are framing the story. The Egyptian superstar has spoken out after what he felt was blatant “disrespect” aimed at two players who gave their all in a title-winning season.
The drama unfolded after Liverpool sealed a British-record £125m move for Alexander Isak, bringing their summer spending to over £400m. Isak joined Florian Wirtz as part of Arne Slot’s major squad overhaul, with both big-money signings handed iconic shirt numbers previously worn by Luis Díaz (7) and Darwin Núñez (9).
