Liverpool have announced their travelling squad for Tuesday’s Champions League showdown against Inter Milan — and it includes a name few fans expected to see. The big talking point, however, is the continued omission of Mohamed Salah.
The Reds head to the San Siro still dealing with the fallout from their dramatic 3-3 draw with Leeds United, a match overshadowed by Salah’s explosive post-game remarks about his role under Arne Slot. Despite training with the squad on Monday, the Egyptian star has not been included in the 19-man group heading to Italy.
This marks the fourth consecutive match in which Slot has removed Salah from the starting picture, despite naming him on the bench for recent games.

Who Is Wellity Lucky?
Lucky began his youth career with CD San Gregorio Arrabal in Spain before joining Real Zaragoza’s academy.
He moved to Liverpool at age 13 and rose through the youth ranks, signing his first professional deal in April 2023.
The centre-back made his senior debut in October, coming off the bench during a Carabao Cup defeat to Crystal Palace.
Born in Spain to Nigerian parents, he is also eligible to represent England after moving with his family at 11.
Lucky trained with the first team on Monday and now steps into the squad for one of Liverpool’s biggest European nights of the season.
