Liverpool Loanee Vitezslav Jaros Ruled Out for the Season After Ajax Training Blow

Ajax have delivered a major setback involving Liverpool’s loan goalkeeper, Vitezslav Jaros.

The 24-year-old shot-stopper sustained a serious knee injury during a training session on Friday, bringing his campaign to an abrupt halt. Following detailed medical checks, the Dutch club confirmed that surgery will be required — effectively ending his season.

Jaros, who joined the Amsterdam side on loan from Liverpool FC, had been enjoying consistent game time in the Netherlands. He featured 26 times across all competitions and registered five clean sheets during his spell with Ajax.

The injury represents a significant personal setback for the Czech international, who had been building strong momentum between the posts.

Ajax will now have to reshuffle their goalkeeping options for the remainder of the campaign, while Liverpool monitor the rehabilitation process closely as their loanee prepares for surgery and recovery.
