Liverpool fans may finally have something big to smile about, as fresh reports suggest the Reds have already laid the groundwork for a future move for Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi.The England international has long been admired at Anfield, and it’s no secret that Liverpool pushed hard to bring him in during the summer. The 25-year-old continues to shine for Palace, producing commanding performances week after week and reminding everyone why Liverpool were so desperate to land him in the first place.His numbers back it up too — averaging over five clearances and nearly three aerial wins per match in the Premier League, Guehi has been a rock at the heart of Palace’s defence. Former Red Stephen Warnock was quick to sing his praises, insisting the defender is more than ready for the big stage.“Marc Guehi is a magnificent player,” Warnock said. “You just hope he gets that move to Liverpool.
