Liverpool have taken a bold step in the transfer market by proposing a €70 million offer to Real Madrid for midfielder Eduardo Camavinga. The French international has been identified as a key target as the Reds look to boost their squad ahead of the second half of the season.

Despite a shaky start to their campaign, Liverpool currently sit fourth in the Premier League, and manager Arne Slot has made strengthening the midfield a priority. Camavinga, known for his versatility and technical skill, fits the profile of the dynamic player the club needs to compete at the top level.

The 23-year-old has impressed during his time at Real Madrid, capable of performing both centrally and in more advanced roles. Liverpool have reportedly followed his progress for some time and believe he could add depth and creativity to their engine room.

However, Real Madrid are said to be reluctant to part with one of their key squad members, making any deal far from straightforward. It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will be able to persuade the Spanish giants to agree to the transfer.
