One potential solution to Liverpool’s defensive struggles is Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi. The England international nearly completed a move to Anfield over the summer before Palace manager Oliver Glasner backed out late in the process.
With Guehi entering the final months of his contract, Palace may now consider selling rather than risking a free departure next summer — a situation that could play directly into Liverpool’s hands.
