Liverpool defender Andy Robertson has finally spoken about his uncertain contract situation as he enters the final year of his current deal with the Reds.

Speaking calmly about his future, the Scottish captain admitted he isn’t letting the situation affect him — at least for now.

> “Whatever happens, happens behind closed doors. I’m not stressing over it,” Robertson said. “If this turns out to be my last year, then it’s my last year. If not, then great. After a difficult summer, I just want to enjoy the next few months and focus on football.”

The 30-year-old added that while contract talks may soon dominate the headlines, his priority remains performing well for Liverpool.

> “I know once the final six months come, things can get a bit hectic. But for now, I’m just happy to be back playing. The club has been incredible to me, and I’m simply taking things as they come,” he continued.

Robertson recently returned from injury and has featured in Liverpool’s last few games, determined to help Arne Slot’s side fight for silverware — regardless of what the future holds.
