During his pre-match press conference at the AXA Training Centre, Slot provided updates on the fitness of Ryan Gravenberch, Ibrahima Konaté, and Alisson Becker — with mixed news for fans.
> “Ryan looks completely fit, though we still have two sessions to go,” the manager revealed. “Ibou has rejoined training and should participate fully today. As for Alisson, he’s not been with the group — he’s ruled out.”
This means Liverpool receive a double boost in midfield and defence, but face a major blow in goalkeeping duties.
Slot went on to confirm that Alisson will miss both this weekend’s fixture and next week’s match, extending his time on the sidelines.
