Liverpool boss Arne Slot has revealed that star forward Alexander Isak may not be fully fit for Saturday’s Premier League showdown with Brighton.

Speaking during his latest press conference, Slot shared an unexpected update when questioned about the possibility of Isak partnering Hugo Ekitike more regularly—especially after their impressive link-up against Inter.

Slot explained that the pair are still building rhythm together, noting that they’ve only featured as a duo twice due to fitness issues. However, he then shifted the conversation with a worrying admission.

👉 “Alex picked up a knock in the first half,” Slot revealed, hinting that the Swedish striker’s availability will depend on how well he recovers before matchday.

The manager added that even if Isak is cleared to play, there’s still a tactical decision to be made regarding whether he starts or if Slot chooses a different setup.

With a crucial league fixture approaching, Liverpool fans will now be waiting anxiously to see whether their in-form forward makes the starting XI. 😟🔴
