Liverpool’s Egyptian icon Mohamed Salah has shared a touching message in honor of Luis Diaz following the Colombian’s high-profile transfer to Bayern Munich.

Diaz sealed his departure from Anfield in a blockbuster £65.5 million move, making him the third most expensive exit in the club’s history. Despite Liverpool’s hopes of keeping him, contract negotiations hit a deadlock — and with Diaz eager for a new chapter, the Reds eventually agreed to let him go.

Having joined from FC Porto in January 2022 for £42 million, Diaz became a key figure in Liverpool’s attack.
