Barcelona could still land Liverpool star Luis Diaz this summer, despite the Premier League club’s reluctance to part ways with the Colombian winger.
Reports suggest the Catalan side, long-time admirers of the 28-year-old, are ramping up their pursuit after failing to secure their top target, Nico Williams. This has opened the door for a renewed push to bring Diaz to Camp Nou.
The competition for Diaz’s signature is heating up. Bayern Munich reportedly made a bid just shy of £60 million earlier this week (on 15 July), but the offer was swiftly turned down by Liverpool.
At present, the Reds have not placed a specific price tag on the forward, as he remains an integral part of their plans for the new season. The club has no desire to sell and continues to hold firm in its position amid growing interest across Europe.
