šØ Liverpool Set to Revive Long-Standing Transfer Target This January! š„

Liverpool are reportedly preparing to reignite their interest in a winger theyāve been tracking since 2022 ā and this time, they could finally get their man š. But thereās a twist: Juventus are also circling for the same player.
After a rough start to the Premier League season, Arne Slotās men have found themselves under pressure. The Redsā 3ā0 loss to Manchester City at the Etihad left them sitting eighth on the table ā with six wins and five defeats from their opening eleven matches. That slump has left them eight points adrift of league leaders Arsenal.
Despite the poor form, Slotās position appears safe for now, especially after delivering last seasonās Premier League title. But with a staggering Ā£424 million spent in the summer on names like Alexander Isak, Jeremie Frimpong, Hugo Ekitike, Milos Kerkez, Giovanni Leoni, Armin Pecsi, Giorgi Mamardashvili, and Florian Wirtz, expectations remain sky-high.
š“ Still, one key deal slipped away ā Marc Guehi of Crystal Palace ā whose proposed move collapsed late in the window. With the defender now wanted by Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, itās unclear if Liverpool will return for him in January.
But another opportunity might be too good to ignoreā¦

š©šŖ Serge Gnabry Back on Liverpoolās Radar š
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Liverpool are preparing to challenge Juventus for Serge Gnabry, whose future at Bayern Munich is uncertain.
The 30-year-old German winger ā once considered a flop during his time at Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion ā has since rebuilt his reputation into one of Europeās most consistent wide men. Since joining Bayern in 2017, Gnabry has won six Bundesliga titles and a Champions League trophy, becoming a cornerstone of their attacking power.
Now, with his contract running until June 2026, Gnabry could be available for the right offer ā or potentially sign a pre-contract agreement next year.
Reports suggest he earns ā¬362,885 per week (Ā£320,824), making him Bayernās fourth-highest-paid player, behind Harry Kane, Manuel Neuer, and Joshua Kimmich. At Liverpool, that salary would place him behind only Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
Interestingly, in a 2020 interview with CBS Sports, Gnabry spoke fondly of Arsenal and hinted that the Gunners would be his āfavouriteā Premier League destination if he ever returned. Still, Liverpoolās admiration dates back to 2022, when they explored him as a replacement for Sadio ManĆ© after the Senegalese joined Bayern.
Could 2025 finally be the year the Reds get their long-time target? š

⽠Fans Turn on Konaté After City Defeat
Meanwhile, Liverpool supporters have not held back after the Manchester City loss ā particularly toward Ibrahima KonatĆ©.
The French defenderās shaky display drew criticism across social media, with many fans urging the club to move him on in January. One frustrated fan posted:
> āReplace KonatĆ© in January ā he looks disinterested and already has his head in Madrid.ā
Another added:
> āHe canāt pass, heās weak, and his mistakes keep costing us. Time to go.ā
KonatĆ©ās form has dipped amid rumours linking him with a free move to Real Madrid next summer, and the backlash only intensified after the 3ā0 defeat ā where goals from Erling Haaland, Nico GonzĆ”lez, and Jeremy Doku sealed Cityās dominance.
With tensions rising and the January transfer window fast approaching, Arne Slot could be facing some tough decisions on who stays ā and who goes.
