Liverpool FC appear set to secure a new young defensive talent as Fabrizio Romano reports that the Reds have reached a verbal agreement for the signing of Mor Ndiaye.
The Senegalese defender, who impressed at the recent U17 World Cup in Qatar, is expected to join Anfield soon, following Liverpool’s earlier capture of Ifeanyi Ndukwe from Austria Wien last week.
Romano confirmed on X:
> “Liverpool reach verbal agreement to sign left-sided CB Mor Ndiaye. Senegal defender has played at the recent U17 World Cup in Qatar; deal follows the signing of Ifeanyi Ndukwe from Austria Wien. Here we go.”
While fans may not be familiar with Ndiaye yet, the 17-year-old is seen as a promising prospect with the potential to become a long-term asset for the club.

With veterans like Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk aging and Ibrahima Konate nearing the end of his contract, nurturing fresh talent such as Ndiaye could be crucial for Liverpool’s future success. Slot faces the challenge of developing a new generation as Klopp-era stars gradually exit.
