🚨 Arne Slot Confirms Injury Concern for Liverpool Star After Training Incident

Liverpool have been dealt another fitness concern after head coach Arne Slot revealed that one of the club’s key players suffered an injury during a recent training session.

The incident reportedly happened during the team’s final preparations ahead of their upcoming European fixture. According to Slot, the player experienced discomfort towards the end of the session, forcing the coaching staff to make a quick decision regarding his availability.

One of the players affected is Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker. The Brazilian shot-stopper felt a problem late in training, and the medical staff decided it would be safer for him not to travel with the squad for their match against Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League.

Slot explained that both the player and the medical team agreed it was not worth taking a risk, even though the issue does not appear to be serious. Instead, Liverpool opted to leave him behind so he can recover properly before returning to action.

With the Brazilian absent from the travelling squad, backup goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili is expected to step in between the posts.

Despite the setback, the Liverpool manager sounded cautiously optimistic about the player’s condition. Early indications suggest the problem may only be minor, and there is hope he could recover in time for the team’s next domestic match.

However, with Liverpool competing on multiple fronts this season, the club will be careful not to rush any player back before they are fully fit.

For now, supporters will be anxiously waiting for further updates as the Reds continue their demanding schedule in both the Premier League and European competitions.
