Liverpool supporters have been left in awe after witnessing Alexander Isakās very first training session with the Reds. The Ā£125m summer signing from Newcastle United ā now the most expensive player in British football history ā finally pulled on his Liverpool gear at the AXA Training Centre, and the reaction was nothing short of electric. ā”š“
The Swedish strikerās move was one of the biggest stories of the transfer window. After three seasons at Newcastle, Isak forced through the switch to Anfield, skipping pre-season matches and igniting plenty of controversy along the way. Iām (74) from the era when LFC won everything it was a fabulous time to be a Red, but then when isnāt, we support our Redmen & Club win, draw or lose !!!! Weāve had a few players unworthy to wear the shirt but always give everyone a chance. Our Kop invents some fantastic tunes supporting our Redmen singing them on when the going gets tough, the tough get going. Often other Clubs copy our chants too thick to invent their own š. Isak like many Reds in our Team looks special, he will get the training & suport and the privilege to war the Red shirt playing alongside Mo Salah VVD Alison, Robbo too many to name and he will never walk alone here. Also our Club doesnāt go back on promises.
