Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk believes thereās still space for more firepower in the squad ā even after a summer transfer splurge of nearly Ā£300 million.
The Reds have already secured six new signings ahead of their Premier League title defence, but high-profile departures have left gaps in attack. Darwin Nunez completed a move to Saudi side Al Hilal, while Luis Diaz joined Bayern Munich.
Speaking after Liverpoolās Community Shield clash against Crystal Palace ā where new boys Hugo Ekitike and Jeremie Frimpong both found the net in a 2-2 draw before a 3-2 penalty shootout defeat ā Van Dijk admitted losing two key forwards might warrant another addition up front.
