In comments to the Italian press, he emphasized that Federico is happy at Anfield and remains focused on contributing to Liverpool’s title push rather than planning a move away.
Chiesa’s struggle for first-team minutes has been well-documented, as he was used sparingly last season and is still fighting to cement his place in the squad this year. With strong competition for attacking spots — and injuries sometimes disrupting his rhythm — rumours have linked him with a return to Serie A or interest from other clubs.
