Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has issued a bold warning to manager Arne Slot — urging him to make a big call on Mohamed Salah after another disappointing display in Sunday’s 2-1 loss to Manchester United at Anfield.The Reds slumped to their fourth straight defeat, with Harry Maguire netting the late winner after Cody Gakpo had levelled earlier. I don’t think Salah should start both.”Carragher believes Salah still has the quality to shine at Anfield, but suggests that on the road, where defensive work rate matters more, the Egyptian could use a short break.> “He should always start at Anfield — that’s where he thrives. But away from home, with his current form, maybe it’s time for him to sit one out,” he added.When asked if Salah would accept being benched, Carragher admitted it would be hard for the 33-year-old to take:> “Would he like it? Probably not.
